Disney Cruise

We visited Nassau, Bahamas and then spent a day at Castaway Cay.  I learned that Cay is the Spanish version of the word Key.  We all had such a great time that we didn't want to leave the ship but, there is not enough pixie dust for us to stay on board for another voyage!

What a great new thrilling fantasy series this turned out to be!  I hope that Laurel can help protect Avalon and rediscover the love between her and Tamani.  I wanted to visit the palace, see the fireworks, and experience the joy of the festival with Laurel and         Tamani.  I was amazed that the fae have a caste system.  I can't wait to see if Laurel and Tamani will be together or if he will survive the ordeal of the winter fairy Yuki.  Will Klea plot against Avalon?  Will Shar save them with his unseelie dark magic?  Book #4 can not be written fast enough.  This series is a must read for young adults over the summer!                                                                 

"City of Fallen Angels"

I finished reading "City of Fallen Angels" and I was so distraught!  I hope that Cassandra Clare writes the next book ASAP - "City of Lost Souls."  This book sure leaves us hanging.  What a series this has been.  I have read many books, but this one really had me going.  I would recommend this series over the summer for any students who are looking for adventure, romance, twist, turns, and just amazing writing.  Enjoy............

The Mortal Instruments Series

I spent the entire Easter weekend reading "The Mortal Instruments" series.  It starts out with the first book called - "City of Bones" and Clary meets the handsome shadowhunter Jace, pictured above in the photo.  Hopefully, Alex Pettyfer will be offered the role by the director.  Lilly Collins has been cast as Clary Fray.  the second book is called - "City of Ashes" and the third book "City of Glass."  I am currently reading the 4th book called "City of Fallen Angels."  I absolutely love this series.  I know that the movie is going to be a big hit.  The books will keep you on the edge of your seat, and you will not be disappointed.  I know that advid readers will really enjoy the experience.  Sorry, but I am not sharing these books with others because I plan on keeping them in mint condition.  Happy Reading!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANNA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY!

We would always celebrate both of the girls' birthdays together.  JANNA was born on April 3rd, and EMILY was born on April 4th.  Spring is such a great time of year.  We are all thinking about you Emily, and know you are working hard to do the Lord's work.

Janna and Will received the keys to their new house this past week.  What a great blessing for them.  I can't wait to see it in June.
